The Obs participates in a conference on hate speech and disinformation in Zagreb

The members of the Blanquerna Observatory, Valentina Laferrara and Verónica Israel Turim, participated the 16th and 17th September in the international conference “Comments, Hate Speech, Disinformation and Public Communication Regulation”, which took place in the city of Zagreb (Croatia) and which was organized by the Agency for Electronic Media and Media Research Scientific Journal. There, they presented the results of the research work “Impediments, vandalism and hate speech: The most frequently reported incidents against Freedom of Religion and Belief in the Spanish media”, carried out within the framework of the Blanquerna Observatory. The work investigates the space they have and the treatment that incidents against religious freedom and belief receive in the main digital media in Spain.
